Numerous scientific studies have proven that cabbage has an excellent effect on the body. Cabbage juice contains l-glutamine, which has a beneficial effect on the reconstruction of the intestinal tract. What’s more, it supports the treatment of various diseases of the digestive tract. What else can this inconspicuous drink do?

Let’s start with the fact that it contains a foreign-sounding vitamin U, which perfectly affects the normalization of gastric juices – when there is too little of them, it stimulates their production, when too much – it reduces. The best source of health, however, is the pickled version of cabbage juice, which is enriched with many ingredients.

The power of cabbage juice – no other probiotic can match it

The pickled version is enriched with larger amounts of vitamin C, B vitamins, vitamin K and beneficial organic acids. It also contains lactobacteria, making it a natural probiotic.

This type of juice is the cheapest way to replenish the “good bacteria” in the digestive tract, of which a healthy person has almost 1,5 kilograms in the intestines. It will therefore be indicated for people who do not have the correct bacterial flora, because:

  • Drink coffee,
  • consume alcohol,
  • They are consumers of processed food – express, smoked, canned, ready, fried,
  • Are taking medications – prescription or non-prescription
  • They suffer from depression
  • Have joint diseases
  • They suffer from allergies.

In order for the intestines to function properly, they should be tightly filled with colonies of good bacteria. Thanks to this, they will not allow any food particles to enter the bloodstream. In addition, these bacteria are constantly working for the good of our body – they produce various valuable compounds, such as enzymes and hormones, and vitamins (e.g. from group B). They make the body work for our health, longevity and overall vitality. This is how sauerkraut juice works for the good of the intestines – it provides huge amounts of lactobacteria.

How to make sauerkraut juice?

Homemade silage costs pennies, has amazing amounts of beneficial bacteria and is easy to make. As you can see, to be healthy, you don’t need a lot of time and money. Just reach for natural remedies and do not let the intestines be neglected!

A slow-speed juicer will work well for this, and if you don’t have one, you can use a blender or mixer for this.

  • Buy plain, white cabbage, preferably as compact and hard as possible.
  • One glass of juice equals a quarter of a kilo of cabbage. This means that a two-kilogram head is enough for eight glasses.
  • Cut off a piece and cut it into small pieces.
  • Put the cabbage pieces in a blender and pour a glass of water. You can use a double portion at once (about half a kilo of cabbage and two glasses of water).
  • Add half or a whole teaspoon of rock or Himalayan salt to taste.
  • We mix the content. Transfer the cabbage pulp to a jar scalded with boiling water, close it and leave it at room temperature for at least 72 hours.
