After the birth of my first child, the lawyer came to thank me: “You helped my wife so much. We are so happy that we have a boy. But something worries me. When my paternal grandfather was my age, he developed a spinal disease that became chronic and caused him much suffering. At the same age, a similar disease developed in his brother. The same thing happened to my father, he has constant back pain, and this interferes with his work. The same disease appeared in my older brother, when he was as old as I am now. And now I’m starting to feel those pains.”

“It’s all clear,” I replied. “I’ll take care of it. Go into a trance.» When he went into a deep trance, I said: “No words of mine will help if your disease is of organic origin or there is some pathological change in the spine. But if this is a psychological, psychosomatic model that you inherited from your grandfather, great-uncle, father and brother, then you should know that such pain is not at all necessary for you. It’s just a psychosomatic pattern of behavior.»

The lawyer came to me nine years later. “Remember how you treated me for back pain? Since then, I forgot about it, but a few weeks ago there was some kind of unpleasant sensation in the spine, not very strong yet. But I got worried, remembering my own and cousin grandfathers, father and brother.”

I replied, “Nine years is a long time. You need to undergo X-ray and clinical examination. I do not do this, so I will refer you to a colleague I know, and he will give me the results of the examination and his recommendations.”

My friend Frank told the lawyer, “You practice law, you sit at your desk all day and you don’t move much. I will recommend a number of exercises that you should do daily if you want your back to be free of pain and to have excellent general well-being. ”

The lawyer gave me Frank’s words, I put him into a trance and said: «Now you will do all the exercises and correctly alternate work and rest.»

He called me a year later and said: “You know, I feel much younger and healthier than a year ago. I seem to have lost a few years, and my back does not hurt thanks to these exercises. ”
